I'm still trying to update and work on my blog site. In the meantime, why not become a 'follower'!  I'll try to keep this up to date and interesting!  Feel free to make suggestions and share ideas!  Thanks!  Blessings on a great new year together! :)
LBCP is getting ready for a brand new school year! We are excited! New students, new teachers and new curriculum.....but the same values and goals: teach Jesus first, prepare for Kindergarten and have fun at the same time!

Ribbit! Ribbit! Ribbit! We had a "croaking"-good time on Feb. 29 "Leap Year" Day!  We learned learned lots of interesting facts about FROGS!  We discussed the differences between a frog and a toad!  We sang about frogs, colored pictures of frogs, found photos of frogs in magazines, hopped like frogs, played with "Leap Frog" electronic toys, told jokes about frogs, read books about frogs and even watched a little of "Kermit" the frog with the "Muppet Movie". We ended the day by playing a game of "Leap Frog"!
Ideas for snacks included: mint chocolate chip ice cream, with green 'fruit by the foot' strips
for legs! and M & M's for eyeballs!
We are "Leaping" into learning at "L.B.C.P."!!!

Feb.:  "Preschool Prom"!  It's one of the highlights of our year! It's also our Valentine's Party.  Everyone's encouraged to dress up and bring Valentines cards and treats.  Then we dim the lights, play some 'kid-friendly' dancing music and boogie!  We take 'couples' portraits and have a blast! Parents are welcome to come, too!  We enjoy Valentine's treats and pass out our valentines. We do Valentine activity sheets and play Valentine games!
